Fruitiest Orange Juice Plushies Now on Kickstarter
January 30, 2018 - A Kickstarter campaign is now underway for the first official Orange Juice goods: Suguri and Marie Poppo from the popular online board game 100% Orange Juice make their grand appearance as limited edition plushies in the the new Kickstarter campaign. The campaign is being run by the game's publisher, Fruitbat Factory.
The initial goal of the campaign is set as $13.000, with further stretch goals unlocking more character plushies to choose from, following earlier polling on character popularity. The stretch goal unlocks start with Sora and Star Breaker.
“We've heard the requests for official character goods, and after extensive polling and research, we're finally able to take the first step into making them reality. Based on the success of the campaign, we hope to expand the character good family over time to meet everyone's hopes and wishes.” explains Jakke Elonen, President of Fruitbat Factory.
Original designs for the plushies have been created by the main artist of Orange Juice, Hono, and the finished plushies are planned to be crafted by the U.S.-based Symbiote Studios. Concept art and photos of finished prototypes can be viewed on the campaign page.
The lowest pledge of $36 + shipping gives backers one of the limited edition plushies (with a suggested MSRP of $45). The plushies will be produced in a limited quantity solely based on Kickstarter pledges.
