Japanese Rock Band ALL OFF to play New Jersey Anime Convention AnimeNEXT

Atlantic City, NJ - February 15, 2018 - AnimeNEXT is proud to announce that the hit Japanese rock band ALL OFF will be guests and perform at it's 2018 convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The band has provided opening and ending songs to popular Japanese anime series Mob Psycho 100 and Heavy Object.

Originally formed in 2004 by singer so-hey and guitarist Yukio, when they were in the same high school in Tokyo, ALL OFF started as a hobby and without knowing how to play, sing or write music. The band had a big break when they were asked to appear on a reality TV show on MTV Japan in early 2005. After the appearance on MTV Japan, ALL OFF played many more live shows in Tokyo, gained more renown in the music scene, and issued their very first demo in 2007.

In 2015, ALL OFF signed with major record label Warner Brothers Japan, and provided the opening and ending theme songs for Japanese anime Heavy Object and Mob Psycho 100. The video of the song Refrain Boy, the ending for Mob Psycho 100, saw over 3 million plays on YouTube in a year, and songs for Heavy Object saw millions of plays too. Through the popularity of these songs, ALL OFF created a world wide fan base and played the United States for the first time.

“AnimeNEXT is very happy to be bringing ALL OFF to anime, J-Rock, and fans of great rock music in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania area,” said Vince Averello, Convention Chairman of AnimeNEXT 2018. ALL OFF will perform in concert, and be a part of panels at AnimeNEXT.

AnimeNEXT is June 8-10, 2018 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. More information about the convention can be found at http://www.animenext.org
