Kyoto Animation Studios' A Silent Voice Arrives on AnimeLab, Streaming in June for a Limited Time

The award-winning anime feature film, A Silent Voice, will be playing for a limited time on the Australian-founded streaming service, AnimeLab.

The platform's Premium Subscribers will have on demand access to the film in both subtitled and dubbed versions, with a limited run for the month of June.

The film, based on the manga by Yoshitoki Ōima, focusses on the topic of bullying and suicide. It premiered in Australian theatres in 2017 to critical acclaim, and won a number of awards including the prestigious Japanese Movie Critics Award for ‘Best Animation Feature Film’, and ‘Excellent Animation of the Year’ at the Japanese Academy Awards.

Produced by the renowned Kyoto Animation Studios (Violet Evergarden, K-ON!), A Silent Voice is one of the very few female-directed animated features to come out of Japan, with Naoko Yamada (K-ON!, Tamako Love Story) at the helm.

A Silent Voice (M): now streaming on AnimeLab until Tuesday, 30 June 2020.

About A Silent Voice
