KEVIN BOLK, CALEB HYLES, & BRANDON MCINNIS RETURN TO MATSURICON
2023 Guest Announcement

COLUMBUS, OHIO - June 16, 2023 - Matsuricon is pleased to announce three returning guests for our upcoming convention Into Another World: Kevin Bolk, Caleb Hyles, and Brandon McInnis!

K-Bo to his fans, Kevin Bolk is an artist, designer, writer, collector, and all around junk culture junkie. Bolk's work has been featured in Marvel Comics, Nickelodeon, Udon Entertainment, Oxford University Press, Tokyopop, MTV.com, The Guardian, Huffington Post, Cracked, Cosmo, Buzzfeed, and more! These days he produces his own comics and art with a retro childhood flair. Most triumphant! Connect with him on Twitter @kevinbolk.

Caleb Hyles first made waves when he released his cover of “Let It Go” on YouTube in 2014. Millions of homes around the world were enchanted by his riveting and theatrical covers of Disney, Broadway, Anime, and pop-rock hits. YouTube allowed for Caleb's vast talents and warm, infectious personality to shine through with every cover, and fans quickly fell in love.

Over the years of pouring himself into his work and creating exciting, diverse content for his fans, Caleb has amassed a close-knit fanbase consisting of 1.5 million YouTube subscribers and over 1 million monthly Spotify listeners. Fans eagerly seek out Caleb's larger-than-life voice taking on their favorite songs and breathing new life in them.

And fans aren't the only ones to take notice of Caleb's talents. Television shows and video series like “RWBY” and “Nintendo Minute” have called on Caleb to sing for them.

With momentum at an all time high, Caleb is looking to embark on the next step of his journey. Sharing more of himself than ever before, January 2021 saw the release of his first original works with his album, In One Breath. Don't miss your chance to embark on this new adventure with him.

Brandon McInnis is an LA-based voice actor, singer, and translator with over 140 roles in anime and video games, and a prolific TikTok account (>600k followers). He is most known for voicing Alear in Fire Emblem: Engage, Gyutaro in Demon Slayer, Sir Nighteye in My Hero Academia, and Finral Roulacase in Black Clover. Previously a software engineer, McInnis also holds a degree in Japanese and lived in Tokyo working as a translator. Having interpreted for a variety of CEOs, musicians, and manga artists, one of his most cherished professional experiences has been to do so on several occasions for Nobuo Uematsu, the famed Final Fantasy composer. McInnis can be found by his handle of @branmci on a variety of platforms including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch.

This year's convention runs August 11-13th. Matsuricon can't wait to have such incredible guests back at this year's con . . . or to see you there!
