Video Business Online has published an article about Bandai's plans for the upcomind release of the Escaflowne movie, as well as a re-release of the TV series.
According to Jerry Chu, who is quoted on several items, Bandai is "looking to make it a big deal" of Escaflowne.
In addition to the theatrical release, Bandai will be releasing the Escaflowne DVD in two formats. In addition to the typical release, a special edition DVD will be released, including a DTS soundtrack, extras not found on the standard release, and an exclusive CD.
In addition to the Escaflowne movie, Bandai will be re-releasing the Escaflowne TV series in a boxed set.
Escaflowne hits theatres on January 25th in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Vancouver.
