Acquarion Logos

Once upon a time, human voices had defined the true nature of all things, yet the invention of text changed the status quo, while creating a "Logos World" between the voice and the truth. Millennia have passed since then, advancements of civilizations have made the "Logos World" too big to control "texts." A group of young people dedicate themselves to counter chaotic "texts" with "Creative Voice Power," and among them, a boy named Akira Kaibuki living in Asagaya.

Aquarion Logos is the third in the series, following 2005's Aquarion and 2012's Aquarion Evol and the series was announced at Aquarion 10th Anniversary Event in March.

Eiichi Sato will be directing the anime at Satelight at C2C from scripts by Jun Kumagai, Yuniko Ayana and Mariko Mochizuki. Takashi Mamezuka is designing the characters, and will also serve as chief animation diretor. R.O.N is composing the music. May'n and Haruka Chisuga will perform the opening and ending theme songs, respectively. Yoko Kanno is composing the opening theme song for May'n.

The series will debut on July 2.

AnimeLab is the first service outside of Japan to announce streaming of Aquarion Logos.

Junjo Romantica 3

Misaki has a lot to worry about. He's trying to get into the prestigious Mitsuhashi University, though his grades are less than stellar. Also his new tutor is the famous author Akihiko Usami, a moody, pushy man who's giving him some shockingly sexual advances. But the biggest problem of all is that Akihiko is using a pen name to write explicit boy's love novels starring himself and Misaki's brother!

Chiaki Kon is once again directing at Studio DEEN with Yoko Kikuchi designing the characters. MOKA* (Kayo Konishi, Yukio Kondoo) is also returning to compose the music with Lantis producing. The series will premiere on July 8.

Shungiku Nakamura's original manga already inspired two anime seasons in 2008, and Right Stuf licensed both for North America.

The second Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi anime series included an adaptation of Nakamura's Junjō Romantica manga spinoff Junjō Mistake, and there was also a Junjō Romantica original video anime in 2012. An original video animation volume of Nakamura's one-shot Hybrid Child debuted last year.

This is not only the first Junjo Romantica title AnimeLab will be streaming but AnimeLab is the first company to announce streaming of Junjo Romantica 3 outside of Japan.

Overlord

The story takes place in the year 2138 when virtual reality gaming is booming. Yggdrasil, a popular online game is quietly shut down one day. However, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as “the most powerful wizard.” The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) beginning to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.

Naoyuki Itou (Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu; Digimon: Data Squad) is directing the series at MADHOUSE. Yukie Sugawara (Sword Art Online, Nanana's Buried Treasure, The irregular at magic high school) is in charge of the series' scripts, and Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Hunter × Hunter, Trigun, Jubei-Chan The Ninja Girl - Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch) is adapting the character designs.

The anime will premiere on the channel AT-X on July 7 at 11:00 p.m., and will then air on the Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and TV Aichi channels on July 8. The first episode will also air on the BS 11 channel on July 9.

AnimeLab has not announced a airdate as yet but they are the first company to announce streaming OverLord outside of Japan.

Kugane Maruyama began the original light novel series online in 2010, and Kadokawa's Enterbrain imprint then published it in print with illustrations by so-bin in 2012. Kadokawa will release the ninth novel on June 29. The first manga volume shipped on June 26.

Sky Wizards Academy

In a world where humanity is driven from the land and now live in floating cities, Kanata Age is a wizard who uses his aerial combat prowess to combat the magical armoured insects that now roam the earth.

Kanata was once celebrated as the "elite ace of the S128 special team" known as the Black Master Swordsman but now he is despised as a traitor. As such Kanata is assigned as the instructor of E601, a team who has suffered 10 consecutive defeats and he must now train Misora Whitale, Lecty Eisenach, and Rico Flamel to fight in the danger zone.

Sky Wizards Academy (Kūsen Madōshi Kōhosei no Kyōkan) is a light novel series written by Yū Moroboshi, illustrated by Yuka Nakajima. The series is published by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint and has six volumes to date and Arisu Shidō launched a manga adaptation in the September issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine last July.

Takayuki Inagaki (Rosario + Vampire, My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy) is directing the series at Diomedea (Gingitsune, Astarotte's Toy) with series composition by Hiroshi Yamaguchi (Rosario + Vampire, ToHeart2). Nomizu is also singing the opening theme song "D.O.B," and la la larks is performing the ending "Hallelujah."

You can view Sky Wizards Academy's cast and character designs here.

Sky Wizards Academy will premiere in Japan on the 8th of July.

AnimeLab is the first company outside of Japan to announce streaming for Sky Wizards Academy. Also AnimeLab panel K and Jess revealed that they brought up the issue of the literally translated Japanese title of Kūsen Madōshi Kōhosei no Kyōkan (which in English is "Aerial Combat Wizard Candidates' Instructor") was too literal for English markets. AnimeLab was asked to put forward suggestions for the English title and they were surprised to be informed that their suggestion of "Sky Wizards Academy" was selected.
