Digimon Adventure Last Evolution Kizuna U.K. Release on Monday

On Monday November 27, Anime Limited released the film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna in standard Blu-ray and DVD editions, as well as a Collector's Blu-ray/DVD edition (pictured) which will include a 24-page art booklet. The film is described by Anime Limited as follows:
"Tai is now a university student, living alone, working hard at school, and working every day, but with his future still undecided. Meanwhile, Matt and others continue to work on Digimon incidents and activities that help people with partner Digimon. An unprecedented phenomenon occurs and the DigiDestined discover that when you grow up, your relationship with your partner Digimon will come closer to an end. As a countdown timer activates on the Digivice, they realize that the more you fight with their Partner Digimon, the faster their bond breaks."
Tomohisa Taguchi (four-part Persona 3 the Movie film series, Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World, Twin Star Exorcists) directed the film at Yumeta Company. Akatsuki Yamatoya (Digimon Adventure, Digimon Frontier, Digimon: Data Squad) wrote the screenplay, and Seiji Tachikawa (Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World, Blue Spring Ride) was the chief animation director. Toei Animation is credited for production.
Hiromi Seki, Toei Animation's original producer for the Digimon anime projects, served as the supervisor of the new film project. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru also returned from the first Digimon anime projects as the new film project's character designer. Kenji Watanabe designed the Digimon monsters for the new project, as he did for the previous Digimon projects.
Anime Limited will also release the Ultimate Edition of the series Tower of God, including an A4 artbook of over 200 pages with interviews, art and storyboards.
This is the television anime adaptation of Korean creator SIU's Tower of God manhwa. Takashi Sano (Sengoku Basara: End of Judgement, Transformers: Energon) directed the anime at Telecom Animation Film (Lupin the Third: Part 5, We Rent Tsukumogami, Orange). Hirokazu Hanai (Dances with the Dragons, Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas) was the assistant director. Erika Yoshida (Trickster, Namu Amida Butsu! -Rendai Utena-) was in charge of series composition. Masashi Kudo (Bleach, Hayate the Combat Butler!!) and Miho Tanino designed the characters. Kevin Penkin (Made in Abyss, The Rising of The Shield Hero) composed the music.
Korean all-male band Stray Kids are performed the opening theme song "TOP-Japanese ver.-."
Anime Limited will also release a Blu-ray containing both TV seasons of Ascendance of a Bookworm, including a booklet with more than one hundred pages.
