apparently Zoro's new look is popular with the ladies.
It's the scar isn't it. Gotta get one of those.

Well, at least 1,735 know popular/exceptional manga. Maybe it's because I am guy, but I never understood why women go for the rebels so much. It's not bad or anything, I just never really understood it.

I've got to say though, Gintama is easily my number one favorite manga in the gag manga genre. I like comedy, but Gintama's comedy actually causes me to laugh and often for more than a minute. And One Piece is simply just awesome to be honest.

An ideal man to a woman is someone with an exciting wild side yet still having enough heart to be a caring family man

Now those two elements often don't go together. A man with a wild side is often free at heart and does not want to be tied down

But according to most female perceptions it is much more plausible to tame a wild man than to make a caring but ultimately boring man interesting

They only want to receive chocolate from Yui because they know Ui would be the one making it and therefor it would be the most amazing chocolate they've ever had.

This is kinda ironic. The fact that they participate in such surveys most likely mean they're not the type to receive chocolate on Valentine's Day. Laughing

BTW, giri-choco is so 1990's! Its popularity is waning in Japan, especially with their stagnant economy going on 2 decades now - nobody could afford to spend away money! Confused

No! You musn't give chocolate to Gintoki! He'll get diabetes! And have to undergo dodgy surgery spoiler[to prevent his balls from exploding] at a hospital which is involved in organ trafficking!

Gintoki is my favourite character from Gintama, and Zolo is my favourite character from One Piece but I wouldn't give chocolates to either of them (well, I wouldn't give chocolates to anyone anyway I guess...)

I wonder if this means we'll be getting a special V-Day themed episode of this poll like they did with that Jump "favorite character" thing. Laughing

I hope so! Anime hyper Gintoki's been on the top of the marryable/dateable/hot/send-chocolate-to-able lists for a couple years now. There's gotta be some awesome 4th-wall breaky story waiting to happen!

Anyone else disturbed that men seem to prefer K-ON characters? >.>

Hey, the K-ON! girls are cute as buttons; I for one can totally see the appeal.

But what's up with all the guys in this thread going "Ah look at this list, this just proves that ALL WOMEN LOVE ~BAD BOYS AND REBELS" when third place is the boy from Kimi no Todoke? Anime hyper Hahaha guys, you can't get more wholesome than that!

Yeah, and Gintoki ain't even a bad boy or rebel. He's just a very lazy person with dead fish eyes who refuses to work and sustain society in a consistent way. Laughing

Uh, for the record, Gintoki is the complete package. Kicks ass, takes names, is good with kids, changes diapers, cooks sometimes, can do some light construction work.

He doesn't really clean though, but I guess that's what Shinpachi is for. Anime hyper
