It is 2 minutes per episode, which means you are complaining about a series that during an entire season amounts to a single episode of any standard series.

Yep. Good shows often don't get multiple seasons, but this time they came through for us.

So awesome! Love the manga and the anime, bought all that came out so far and pre-ordered the 2nd season already!
Really early green light though before season 2 has even been sold, wow! I approve though! More evidence that the disc sales don't even matter for stuff like this, the manga bump must be what matters.
The manga has 48 chapters now so there is enough for a fourth season. Waiting for the season 4 announcement!

Believe it or not, while I enjoy all the ecchi stuff in it, Teekyuu has deeper stuff in it. Hint: look at the episode titles/manga chapter titles.

Interestingly, if you buy the OP CD for season 2 (I did!) it contains audio dramas for manga chapters 41 and 42 which ran in the July issue of Earth Star (which I buy monthly).
It is INTERESTING because the audio dramas are 4-5 minutes long, not 2 minutes! So they are not speaking like they're on crack! It is fun to read along with the manga, not quite as good as anime but better than pure audio drama for something as visual as Teekyuu.
The season 2 Bluray says it has two bonus episodes. I really hope they also animated those manga chapters and I hope they let them run at that speed instead of on Speed. I am looking forward to longer versions and hope they will consider making this a 4-5 minute show rather than 2 minutes. It doesn't need to be any long as the manga chapters are so short. The most recent issue of Earth Star has 4 chapters of it, 45-48 so there is now enough for a 4th season (there are some bonus chapters in the last few of the 5 tankobons as well in case they need more material).

This. Teekyu is a woah that's fast zany comedy and they often talk so fast you wonder what drugs those characters are on.
I'm sure that our friend with the Monokuma avi is also aware that people took stills to rant against Flowers of Evil so yeah I'd recommend that he/she actually watches an episode. They are only two minutes long.

I, for one, am disgusted that this ultra violent, gory, fighting series has been recommissioned. It would be so bad, but it takes forever anything to happen it. Teekyuu? Teekyuu* a long time more like.

You know, I actually laughed when I saw the article's title on the homepage. It's kind of depressing that this would get a third season over some others, but kind of awesome at the same time...
