No Anime Win at Saturn Awards

The Saturn Awards, the awards which honor the best science fiction, horror and fantasy movies and television programs of the year, announced the winners on Wednesday. Makoto Shinkai's your name. film and FUNimation Entertainment's Speed Racer collector's edition (pictured right) were up for awards, but neither won.
your name. name was nominated for Best Animated Film Release, but the award went to Coco. Other nominees included Cars 3, Despicable Me 3, and The Boss Baby.
The Speed Racer collector's edition was nominated for Best DVD/BD Special Edition Release, an award that went to the Criterion Collection release of Night of the Living Dead. Other Special Edition nominees included Lost Horizon, The Lost World, Re-Animator, and Suspira.
