posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and the band RADWIMPS collaborated to produce a "Weekly Shonen Jump" song and music video. RADWIMPS' staff's official YouTube channel began streaming the music video on Monday. The music video features images of current Shonen Jump manga such as Eiichiro Oda's One Piece, Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!!, and Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia.

The song's lyrics begin with:

I had a dream
of a Weekly Shonen Jump future
I was on the watch
for your tough time and my chance

The music video will be available until May 10. RADWIMPS' Ningen Kaika (Human Blooming) album, which shipped last November, included the song. Weekly Shonen Jump's editorial department listened to and approved the song before it was released.
