Kamen Teacher Black Manga to End in 3 Chapters

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
GTO's Tohru Fujisawa launched sequel manga last year

This year's 39th issue of Shueisha's Young Jump magazine is revealing on August 28 that Tohru Fujisawa's Kamen Teacher Black manga will end in three more chapters. The manga is taking a break for issues 40 and 41, and will return in the 42nd issue on September 18. If the manga does not take a break after that, it will end in the 44th issue on October 2.

Fujisawa launched the manga as a sequel to the 2006-2007 Kamen Teacher manga in April 2013. Shueisha published the fourth compiled book volume on June 19.

The original four-volume story revolved around Araki Gota and Kamen Teacher, who were hired to a public high school of delinquents to solve the school's problems in their own unorthodox ways. The new story explores the activities of the masked Kamen Teacher at a notable school for wealthy socialites, where powerful parents and money mean everything to students.

Fujisawa's original Kamen Teacher manga inspired a live-action television adaptation starring Kis-My-Ft2 idol group member Taisuke Fujigaya in July 2013, and the show received a live-action television special and a film sequel in February.
