posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Final film in trilogy slated to open in Japan on September 23

The official website of the anime film trilogy adaptation of Gamon Sakurai's Ajin - Demi-Human manga began streaming a trailer for Ajin: Shōgeki (Ajin: Crash), the third film in the film trilogy. The video teases the story and previews some scenes from the new film.

The film will open in Japan on September 23.

The first film, titled Ajin: Shōdō, opened in Japan last November. The second film, Ajin: Shōtotsu, just concluded its three-week limited engagement in Japan, opening on May 6 and finishing on Thursday. The films and the television anime series share the same main staff at the Polygon Pictures studio.

The television anime adaptation's first season premiered on January 15 and ran for 13 episodes. Netflix streamed new episodes in Japan three days after they premiered on Japanese television, and it began streaming the entire first season outside of Japan on April 12. The anime will get a new season in October.

A limited edition of the manga's eighth volume also bundled an original anime DVD when it shipped on May 6. A limited edition of the ninth volume will also bundle an OAD when it ships on October 7.
