Kimagure Orange Road scheduled for March

Discotek Media announced on Thursday that it has licensed the Inukami! and Beyblade: V-Force television anime and the Twilight of the Cockroaches film. All three are slated for release on on February 26.

The company also announced that its release of the Kimagure Orange Road television anime is slated for March 26, 2019. The full 48-episode TV series will be in one HD Blu-ray Disc set with five discs.

Discotek will release the 26-episode Inukami! anime series and movie together on Blu-ray Disc in Japanese with English subtitles. Discotek describes the story:

Inukami! are benevolent, dog-like beasts with great spiritual powers that can also take human form. Together with a clan of “Inukami! Users,” they fight to vanquish evil. One such clan member, Keita Kawahira, is seen as a total loser. He doesn't take his job seriously, flirts with every woman he sees, and can't find a single Inukami! willing to form a contract with him. Then, one day, he meets the Inukami! “Yoko.” She is beautiful, fearless, and powerful beyond compare, but also self-centered and uncontrollable. When she gets jealous, she won't hesitate to use her powers to teleport Keita, completely naked, straight into the middle of town as punishment--much to the police department's dismay! Will this unlikely team band together to fend off the evils plaguing their city, or will Keita be branded the city pervert and getlocked up first?!

The 2006 television anime Inukami! adapts Mamizu Arisawa's light novel series of the same name. The series also inspired a manga adaptation and an anime film sequel. Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga, but the anime has not previously been released in North America.

The now-defunct streaming service Daisuki was the first company to release the anime in North America.

Discotek will release the Twilight of the Cockroaches film on DVD in Japanese with English subtitles and with the English dub. The company describes the story:

The cockroaches of Saito's apartment live in peace with their human host, who gives them lots of space to breed and plenty of leftovers to munch on. In the midst of these high living times, Naomi and Ichiro plan to get married and start a family. But when a hard- bitten stranger roach named Hans appears with news of war with the humans across the lawn, it foretells disruption—not only of Naomi and Ichiro's relationship, but of their hive's entire way of life.

The 1987 film combines live action with animation by Madhouse. Streamline Pictures released the film on VHS in North America with an English version produced by Carl Macek.

Discotek will release all 51 episodes of Beyblade: V-Force on an English-dubbed SD Blu-ray Disc.Discotek describes the story:

Winning the World Championships is one thing, but Beyblading for survival is a whole new challenge for the Bladebreakers. Tyson, Max, Ray, Kai and Kenny reunite after most of them lose one-by-one to a mysterious group of Blader's called Saint Shields. When the sinister Gideon and his sidekick Dr. B reveal their true intentions, our heroes must protect their four Sacred Bit Beasts and prevent them from falling into the hands of Team Psykick. In order to avoid losing their Bit Beasts forever, the Bladebreakers must evade an ever-growing number of individuals sent to steal their power.

The first anime series based on Takara Tomy's Beyblade line of toys debuted in 2001, followed by V-Force in 2002. Nelvana acquired the rights to the series in the Americas, most of Europe, and Oceania. Discotek is also planning to release the first series in January.
