New Beyblade Burst Gachi Net Anime Premieres on April 5

This year's March issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine announced on Friday that a new Beyblade series titled Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) will debut on April 5. The series will stream weekly on the CoroCoro YouTube channel, the official Beyblade portal website, and the Takara Tomy Channel. The magazine shared a visual of a new protagonist with short blond hair.
Coro Coro Comics also announced that Hiro Morita will end the manga version of Aiga's story (Beyblade Burst Turbo/Beyblade Burst Chōzetsu) and begin a new "Gachi" manga in the magazine's April issue next month.
Takara Tomy's Beyblade line of toys inspired a manga series in 2000-2003, and Viz Media released the 14-volume series in North America in 2004-2006. The manga inspired three television anime series (Beyblade, Beyblade: V-Force, and Beyblade G Revolution) between 2001-2003, and the Beyblade the Movie: Fierce Battle film in 2002. A spinoff manga, Metal Fight Beyblade, has inspired the Beyblade: Metal Fusion, Beyblade: Metal Masters, Beyblade: Metal Fury, and Beyblade: Shogun Steel television anime series, as well as the Metal Fight Beyblade VS Taiyō Shakunetsu no Shinryakusha film.
Morita launched the Beyblade Burst manga, named for the third generation of Beyblade toys, in 2015. The Beyblade Burst television anime premiered in April 2016. It was followed by a sequel, Beyblade Burst God (Beyblade Burst Evolution), and a spinoff, Beyblade Burst Turbo (Beyblade Burst Chōzetsu).
Nelvana localized the first seven television anime series for North America, and also produced the BeyWheelz and BeyWarriors: BeyRaiderz Western-exclusive animated spinoff series. d-rights' US subsidiary Sunrights replaced Nelvana as the international distributor starting with Beyblade Burst.
