posted on by Karen Ressler
9 volumes confirmed for monthly release in Japan

The official website for The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls announced details on the anime's first Blu-ray and DVD sets on Saturday. In addition to a regular DVD and limited edition Blu-ray and DVD, the website is offering an "Idolm@ster Gravure for You! Pack" version, which will include the PlayStation 3 game Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Gravure for You! Volume 1. First editions will also come with a serial number for "Gravure for You! Uzuki Shimamura" in the Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls social game.

The sets will include the first two episodes on the anime. The extras from the limited editions include a three-track vocal CD, a digipack designed by character designer Yuusuke Matsuo, production materials, audio commentary, a clean opening and closing, and the live action special "Oshougatsu da yo Cinderella Girls" (It's New Years, Cinderella Girls).

The game pack will ship on April 23 for 8,980 yen (about US$76). The limited edition Blu-ray and DVD will ship on the same day for 6,800 yen (US$58) and 5,800 yen (US$49), respectively. A regular edition DVD with just the clean opening and closing and audio commentary will ship for 4,800 yen (US$41).

The website has confirmed a total of nine volumes and will ship a new one each month.

The website also posted a commercial for the first set.

The IDOLM@STER Gravure for You! PlayStation 3 game series puts the player in the role of a photographer, shooting the various girls from the game and anime franchise. Among other options, the player can adjust the angle, zoom level, depth of field, and background music during the photoshoot.

The earlier The IDOLM@STER anime had similar packs with games.

The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls anime premiered this month and Dasuki is streaming the series internationally.
